Pico Pete (Engs Motor Truck Peterbilt) Wrecker Model Decals

Here is my rendition of Pico Pete. I started with the AMT Peterbilt Wrecker, lengthening the hood, lengthening the frame, reworking the wrecker bed for lower walls, longer wheelbase, narrower width, a wider main boom (the kit is just a bit skinny compared to the 14" real Bakersfield Booms). The kit grille was swapped out for a resin piece cast by AITM based on the part I made to resemble the Grilledenser option, mufflers and standpipes from an Italeri Pete, front wheel (outers) from a Transtar CO4070A, air cleaner from the Revell of Germany 359, air cleaner cap from the snap 359. The grille, fuel tanks and canisters on the left side of the cab were finished with Revell Chrome Spray. I swapped the Peterbilt air ride for a Hendrickson walking beam from a White-Western Star kit. These trucks typically used spring ride.

Color is Duplicolor Universal White. The chassis is Duplicolor Bordeaux Red.
